There was so much to do there we barely scratched the surface. The kids got to play farmer with all the wooden cutouts and even milked a fake cow! My kids are not skilled in the way of the cow, let's leave it at that. I can say that if it were a real cow multiple kids may or may not have gotten pooed on. They were excited to see the pigs race because that has always been a favorite in the past but they didn't really get a lot of the commentary so it got kind of old.
Picking our pumpkins is always last so we can bring them right to the car. We are all pretty tired by that point anyways. This patch was a little different because they didn't have a hayride out to pick your own. The kids were pretty disappointed in that but excited that there were so many giant pumpkins to choose from. We left with just 4 this year, which has to be a new record for us normally we have anywhere up to 12!
Since moving back to MN we have been combining our old traditions with new ones. As long as we're together with the kiddos we are happy!!!
