It took awhile for us to get going with lessons again once we got here because it took so long for us to get settled down. So when I called to sign up for lessons and was told that I couldn't sign up for the fall session and would have to wait for the winter session to start. I was sad for Lucas and mad at myself for dropping the ball.
I still went ahead and took him in for his swim assessment so he knew we were going to get started eventually! When we got there not only had he not regressed but it seemed like he was leaps and bounds above where he was when we left NoVA. I know he did A LOT of swimming over the summer but it has been so long since he had been in lessons.
Long story short it turns out they also offer camps instead of weekly lessons so he was able to get back in the water that very day!
I am so proud of all my kids but I just love that Lucas is finding his own way in the world. With his older brother and sister so set in their activities I was worried he would just follow suit but he is making his own way and loving every minute of it!
